Poems | Mahmudul Hasan Hemal

In dark I like you to be here
Sitting like you are,
I am crying, O dear
Sniff the air
I am crying, Read my tear!

***

Don’t write a name on my tombstone
My soul has no name;
Let there the green moss grow
Around them in dense row
I lived like them
Let them represent me.

***

I lived among people
People died,
And buried in me
