Over the Ocean | Steffen Horstmann

Migrating butterflies swarm over the ocean,
As iridescent clouds form over the ocean.

Slivers of lightning pulse in bands of rain
Where funnel clouds form over the ocean.

Azure light flows from wheeling monsoons
That dissolve & reform over the ocean.

The horizon’s blue fire emits mist, rising
Like smoke as auroras form over the ocean.

Kali levitates above the tornado
Emerging from a storm over the ocean.

Sunlight shot with rain streams in shafts
Through a fading storm over the ocean.

Wading fishermen witness the image
Of Poseidon form over the ocean.
