Harmonium on the bed | Sakkho Gun

At sunset, my Amma had a violent urge to play the harmonium
While my mother was getting ready for her evening prayer.
The sound of the Shankha collided with my Amma’s fragmented tunes
While my father, dressed sharply, went out, as usual.
Leaving behind a hungry grandmother, and a crying wife.

Wow, this is truly a powerful poem because it symbolizes the father figure going on his day while the mother figure stays at home and unwinds the day by music. Well done Sakkho Gun!
