Eating Oranges on a Winter Afternoon | Stuti Chandra

Eating oranges on winter afternoons
Sprawled on narrow plastic mats.

And warm warm Sun was
pouring golden ambrosia all over.
Seeping through our hitched up skirts,
Warming US.

Lulled to a languid forgetfulness,
I carressed the criss cross on your skin;
Harsh Plastic Impressions.

And I still have the pips hidden,
Somewhere I can’t remember.
