The Monsoon and My beloved | Pitambar Naik

As the monsoon goes frenzy
So you do
It’s good to view your wild countenance.
We swim together.

When you swell
I dive into you
I madly chase you
How lovely it is!
How lovely it to tame you a flooded river.

The deeper I go
The deeper I feel you
You envelop me as I wish.

You never get tired
Nor do you collapse
And detach me.

How can I be suffocated?
How can I put you aside?
Saying it’s enough

My hunger is highly inflammable
Drown me, drown me
Till the next monsoon drown us cruelly.

Why you frail and the monsoon not!
