Pallabi Konwar

Pallabi Konwar teaches English Literature to undergraduate students in Guwahati, Assam and is pursuing her Doctoral research from Centre for English Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. She translates Assamese poems, short stories and non-fiction into English. One of her short story translations titled “Not a Machine” has recently been published in Commonwealth Foundations’ online literary magazine adda’s special issue on “Translations: South and Southeast Asia”. Her poems have appeared in journals and magazines such as Muse India and Room 16 and in the anthology Of Dry Tongues and Brave Hearts edited by Reema Ahmed and Semeen Ali and published by Red River.
