A story of a Sea-faced Wife | Swagata Saha

When will you come back?
Come back to the shore!
I can turn out to be a
Hypocrite wife-and a
Motherless womb may be poured.

Leave the fish, leave the penny,
Leave not your wife-
Your little boy and our cows
Have grown to four!

Storm came last night,
We have lost our home.

Are you alive?
Then, come back to the shore!

Some tourist from a city’s face-
Visited me today,
They want me to go to their land-
But it aches my core!

They said they will pay me,
I can work over their-
The household works! They told me…

But without you it will not be fair!

If you are alive then-
Come back to the shore.
