The Path | A.J. Huffman

as yet untaken, shows itself in white.
Pristine snow drips from sheltering branches.
I hesitate, hoping to maintain
this untouched scene a moment longer
before crushing crystals beneath excited feet
that cannot wait to see where it will lead.
