For Quite a Long Time | Binoy Majumdar

You have gone for quite a long time,
Return one day like the flood again;
Like a dry fruit of Sheerish amidst the enlivened leaves
I pass my life,
Seldom when I see at the old wall,
From the several undisciplined lines
You come out like a lady
Like the walks, flights, notes of fostered doves,
I have loved you,
And you have gone again.
